MEMBERSHIP

Who can join FAPCA?
FAPCA is made up of local and leading licensed plumbing contractors and supply houses in the Fayetteville Area of North Carolina who service, repair and plumb new residential and commercial properties.  Manufacturers, supplies and service companies who provide products and services to contractors are also welcome to join the association.

CONTRACTOR APPLICATION

Any person, firm, or corporation holding a qualifying contracting registration from the North Carolina State Department of Labor and Industries, conducting plumbing, heating, or cooling business, shall be eligible for contractor membership. Contractor membership applications shall be submitted to the Executive Director, who shall make due inquiry as to eligibility, for approval. Dues will be processed on a monthly basis and may be canceled at any time with 30-day written notice.

AFFILIATE APPLICATION

All individuals, firms or corporations which provide professional services to the Active membership, i.e., insurance brokers, accountants, vehicle leasing, etc., are eligible. Affiliate membership application shall be submitted to the Executive Director, who shall make due inquiry as to the eligibility. Dues will be processed on a monthly basis and may be canceled at any time with 30-day written notice.

FAPCA was established in 1955 with the goal to unite plumbers in the area along with others in similar industries.
The goals of our Association are:
1.) The sponsorship of more modern, adequate and safe plumbing
2.) The involvement and support of our Cumberland County Community (especially during these times)
3.) The continuance of suitability in employer-employee relations in the Plumbing Industry.
4.) To carry on institutional advertising, public relations programs, and promotional activities for the good of the public and the plumbing industry.
5.) The furtherance of apprenticeship standards and activities.
6.) The encouragement and education of other plumbing companies within the association.
7.) Educational activities relating to the Plumbing Industry.
 

Networking
One of the most rewarding benefits is the ability to meet other industry professionals, share ideas and discuss common problems and solutions.  Monthly network meetings, legislative meetings, state convention, golf tournament and national convention all provide excellent networking opportunities.
